We might be a little late on this one, but we definitely need to get this one out there. Sir Collins, a rapper from Chicago, released his latest project produced mostly by T-Jay Beats, 'Anxious' at the beginning of the month. We know him from his 'Ready or Not' EP where we heard him work with other Chicago artists like Saba, Supa Bwe, and Qari.

This project is mostly solo, save for a song with Alex Jordahl, so we get to hear Sir Collins in his element. Listening to this project we can tell that T-Jay Beats really put in work on these tracks, giving us a unique sound that can't really be categorized.

Sir Collins has obviously put a lot of time into this from the heartfelt 'Dominos' to the '3/6' which is him damn near completely singing.

There's one reason why I really like Sir Collins, and it's because he genuinely has a very creative sound. I feel that he doesn't really take after any artist in specific, so he's created a whole new place for himself to work it and that's how an artist really gets their best work out.

My personal favorite? 'Tarantino', produced by T-Jay Beats and Mulatto. Mulatto, a producer for a LOT of Chicago artists and a member of the now broken up band 'Hurt Everybody', collaborated with T-Jay to make a masterpiece of a beat and Sir showed how flexible he could really be with his vocals.

This is our first, but we can tell this won't be our last post on Sir Collins. We hope to hear a lot more from him in the coming months. You can listen to his latest EP 'Anxious' below, or check it out on any music streaming service.
